We offer non–medical, compassionate, holistic support (emotional, spiritual, practical) to individuals facing the end-of-life and their families. We assist with planning, companionship, legacy work, navigating options (like funerals, MAID), and facilitating peaceful, meaningful transitions, working alongside medical teams to enhance care, not replace it.
What We Do
- Emotional & Spiritual Support: Offer companionship, hold space for difficult conversations, help with legacy projects, and honor personal beliefs.
- Practical Guidance: Assist with advance care planning, understanding rights, organizing documents, assisting with Personal Directives, and navigating the death care industry.
- At the Bedside: Provide presence, create comforting environments (music, scents), and help with rituals.
- Family Support: Help loved ones prepare, cope, and grieve, turning potentially fearful experiences into sacred ones.
- Respite: Provide respite for families to give them time for themselves while lending support to their loved ones.
CORE - KEY ASPECTS
- Non–Medical: We don’t provide clinical care, diagnose, or prescribe, but complement medical/hospice teams.
- Empowerment: We help individuals maintain dignity, agency, and control over their final days.
- Cultural Shift: We help re–learn the “atrophied skill” of dying in a death–denying culture, making it more peaceful and meaningful.
We offer services like planning, vigils, and post–death support, often connecting with local services such as lawyers, funeral directors, personal representative for estate closure, and various other services. We also assist with home funerals.
